Optiverter is a scriptable command-line utility for Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT that is capable of high-speed conversion to and from over 50 image formats, and includes the same engine used in Spinwave's popular JPEG Cruncher™. Optiverter Readable Formats
Optiverter can often determine automatically the input format of an image. The extension is the first clue (.jpg or .jpeg), but it will also examine the image's data to try and determine the image's type. For example, a TIFF image could have an extension of .tif or .tiff, and both will be properly recognized by Optiverter.
